THANKS TO MARTIN FOR THE AMAZING RENDERS
As a fan of comics, Constantine, Lovecraft and the works of the master Canale, I am super excited to be able the official photos of this piece, in which I had the incredible honor and joy of being able to assist my dear mentor and friend Martin Canale and the Sideshow Collectibles team in the creation of some props and elements.
As I have said on numerous occasions, it is one of the most beautiful and complex pieces I have ever seen, the master Martin Canale , not only did an impeccable job creating the character, the clothes and the details of it but he also created one of the most detailed bases I have seen so far.
I had the good fortune to sculpt the fire of the hand, the book , cigarettes ,card, bottles (with the flowers) and the roots of the base (all elements from scratch to their final detail)
The design of this piece is based on a 2D concept created by the amazing Richard Luong and Martin. It was inspired by the cover of Issue #1 from DC's New 52 line, illustrated by Renato Guedes.
The art direction was led by Tom Gilliland , Ricky Lovas , and Martin.
A special chapter is also dedicated to the master painters of this giant piece. The finishing touches were done by Bernardo Esquivel and Mr. Anthony Mestas. They did an incredible job—the detail and care in the application of color are on another level.
Special Thanks to Anna Van Slee and Ricardo Ariel Lopez
